Steven came out a few minutes later.

Maria was sat on the floor next to the side of the car facing away from the house, with her back against the car.

Steven walked round to the driver's side and saw her. He isn't there. But he was. Come on lets go.

Maria nodded and shakily got to her feet. She headed round the passenger side and climbed in.

Steven got into the car.

Maria looked out the window in front of her, still feeling sick at what she'd just seen.

Steven drove quickly back onto the highway.

Maria was breathing a little too quickly and she didn't have her gun anymore.

Steven looked at her, confused. You okay? You seem a little shaken. He said as he sped down the motorway.

Maria refused to look at him.
You just.......killed them, she said, her voice shaking.

Maria still didn't look at him, she swallowed loudly again.
You shouldn't have done it like that though, she muttered.

I had to. He focused on driving. Any delay would allow them to think up a plan or get organised and that would have made it a whole more difficult.

Maria swallowed again.
I dont care, you shouldn't have just killed them like that.

Steven drove on. He knew he was right but he decided to stay silent.

Maria stared out the window, deep in thought.

Steven pulled off the highway and into their driveway.

Maria got out the car before it'd bearly stopped and went into the house.

Steven followed her in.

Maria headed straight into the kitchen and leaned against the side.

Steven headed in and watched the television. The 3-D effects were quite outdated and he might have to get a new one.

Maria sat on the cupboards and listened to the wind outside. She pulled up one of her legs and rested her chin on her knee.
