Steven scanned the room with his CARPS software. (Computerised Accumulative Reasoning Pinpoint System) The notepad lit up in front of his yellow hawk-like 'eyes'.

Maria made her way across the street, carrying heavy shopping bags. She jumped out of the way as a car raced past. She frowned and walked on.

Steven picked it up and skimmed over the pages before reading every word in under a second. He earched through his internal system and made a new document. He entered relevant information and put the notepad down.

Maria went into the house that the humans that owned lived in and started to put away the food she'd brough for them.

Mark approached the house in his brown, worn and long coat. He pulled his badge and tapped the middle. A spherical hologram came up with the house's information. He skimmed through it quickly. A couple, robot named Maria, average income, etc etc average family i guess He thought to himself. He double checked the data stored in Remming's files before knocking on the door.

Maria heard the knocked and walked over to the door. She smiled as she opened the door, something she did a lot.

Maria had been about to close the door when he turned around.
Yes? she asked, opening the door again.

Maria nodded.

Well, so far i have been unsuccessful in finding a sufficient lead in my investigation. But there has been quite a few reports of a mysterious black hovercar (was thinking just like 50 cm of the ground or something not like in the sky) that had never been in the area before. Did you see anything around this area?, it was reported to have drove right by this house.

(No, I was thinking of having hoover cars as well! I mean, if we got robots, we're gonna have a lot of other things as well!)

Erm, I did see something like that, but I didn't get much of a look. I was charging up at the time, you see.

(oh yeah corse but i was thinking having the hover cars just actually 'hovering' and not flying if you get what i mean.)

Maria waved and closed the door. She put the card on the unopened mail and returned to the kitchen.

Steven had heard voices downstairs. He waited until he heard the door shut and presumed they had left. He started to sneak down the stairs.

The phone rang and Maria put down the knife she was holding and started to walk out to the front passage way to pick it up.

Steven heard the phone ring and froze.

Maria walked to the phone and picked it up, not noticing Steven.
