Maria flicked through the channels and settled on the news channel. She watched it.

Mark shuffled his papers neatly and decided to call that maid now since he didn't have much to do. He picked up the 'orange pages' and flicked through, searching for maids.

(Orange pages?! )

Maria liked to watch the news, she could keep up to date on the whole that way without the need to go to an update bank everyday.

(just thought it'd be a little comical like yellow pages advanced or something.)
Mark appointed the maid for next thursday. Annabel 2000 was her name apparently.

Maria checked on her systems as she watched, everything was in order.

Mark went to bed a few hours later and slept.

Maria shut herself down, but not before setting her alarm for seven o'clock the next morning.

Mark awoke the next morning and stretched before dodging random items on the floor and heading to the fridge.

Maria woke up the next morning and stretched as she stood up. She frowned as she remembered the last day, that man and the phone call saying that her owners were away longer than planned. She sighed.

He drank some orange juice from the carton.

Maria looked around, there was nothing to do. She felt...............bored. She sighed again and looked at her To Do list in her storage, she'd crossed everything off. She sighd again.

Mark made some breakfast and ate it quickly he manouvred his way across to his desk and started checking files.

Maria looked around the spotless kitchen and groaned. She headed into the hallway, grabbed her coat and left the house, locking it behind herself.

Mark double-checked all his current evidence for the disappearance.

Maria walked through the crowds, waving at the few people she knew becuase her owners knew. She was thinking about that man yesterday.

Mark still couldn't find much. He had to clear his head. He decided to take a stroll.

Maria shook her head as she waited for the lights to change so she could cross the road.
Stop thinking about him, she thought. Its nothing, no-one will find out.

Mark passed through crowds of people and robots. He didn't notice Maria walking his way since he was looking to the floor.

Maria stopped to pick up an old ladies bag and continued on.

He dodged past an oncoming hover bike and smashed into Maria.

Whoa!
Maria caught him and steadied him.
Oh, hello, Officer, you okay?

Ahh erm...Ma...Maria Is it? He evened out his balance.
