He shook his head.

Sam laughed again.
"That's not what it looks like from this side of the line."

[I feel sorry for Ruby! xD I was always going to do this, though, have a dark side to him that didn't come out much.]

"No, you need to get over, it Ruby, because this jealously is completely and utterly uncalled for. Everything you've done to Lilith is totally uncalled for. What the hell did she ever do to you to make you do this to her!?"
Sam's voice had taken on a cold edge.

Ruby just looked at him and blinked for a moment, she didn't say anything, she didn't know what to say. She paused for a moment
I didn't think you could be so cruel Sammy She speeded up, trying to get away from him

"Like I said, you've got a lot to learn about me, Rubes, just because you've know me fifteen years doesn't mean you know the real me."
Sam flew past her.

Ruby quickly wiped her eyes from any trace of tears, and carried in flying as if nothing had happened

Sam sped up, he felt bad for being mean to her but she'd been asking for it.

Lillith slowed down for Sammy, she glanced at him sideays
What was that about?

"Ruby needed to be told the harsh truth, that's all."
Sam smiled to her.

Sam smiled and flew a little faster.

Ruby landed a few moments later, not saying a word to either of them

Lillith tucked her wings away, as did Ruby, minutes later
