Steven went to the left of the door and clicked one of his last guns left off safety. He took a pistol off his thigh holster and handed it to Maria. Stay back, that's just in case.

Maria nodded and looked at the gun in her hands. She stood back from the door, but straight in line with it so she could see.

Steven reached and carefully opened the door knob. He swung the door then flew backwards out of the doorway's way.

After a moments silence Steven frowned and whipped his gun round the corner to look inside. The room they had strived to reach, the room supposed to contain the professor, the room he; they, had wasted countless money, effort and hardship for.... was practically bare. The only thing there was a single chair, on it's side.

Maria peered over his shoulder, looking into the room. She frowned.
"Hang on, wasn't you creator and Selena meant to be in there?"

The only thing he got was static. In the corner of the room was her communicator. It was smashed to pieces, like someone had stood on it.

Shit. Steven walked to the only other door in the room. It had been forcibly ruined and showed a long staircase leading back to the entrance.

"Erm, Steven? Is this what I think it is?" she asked, frowning and bending down to look at it.
