A large crash came from the other side. His view was obstructed so he couldn't see what it was.

Steven sprinted to Maria and picked her up moments before the smallish military tank blew a crater in the ground where she was.

Steven shot two guys taking aim before ducking to the right as another shell plummeted towards him.

Steven emerged from a cloud of dust and shot a guy looking around. He edged a little closer to the tank before a third shell smashed into the ground to the left.

Maria watched him, biting her lip. Damn her shoulder! She hissed in pain as she tried to get the bullet out.

Steven kit a guy round the corner of the box in the head with his gun then shot him. He sprinted towards the tank and dodged a shell at the last moment.

Maria managed to get he bullet out after a lot of fiddling about.

Steven pulled the pin out of a grenade and sprinted towards the tank, staying low. As the tank turned its top to fire at him he slid and dropped the grenade it into the hole of the gun. Then he sprinted in the other direction and lunged behind some crates just in time.
