"It is, though, Ajax!" Christina told him, finally looking at his face.

"I'm not tired."
Christina slid off the bed.

Ajax faded a little and sighed.

Christina looked out the window and breathed in deeply.

Ajax got up and yawned.

Christina tossed and turned in the bed, covered in sweat. She suddenly screamed, gripping the bed sheets, still asleep.

Ajax padded over to her room and opened the door.

Christina screamed again, her face pressing into the pillow. She gripped the bed sheets harder.

Ajax pulled up a chair by her bed. Christina? You okay?

Christina jerked awake at the sound of his voice and sat up, crying as sweat ran down her back. She was breathing heavily as her nightmare left her.

What was it? Same nightmare? He said soothingly

Christina nodded, looking at him.
"Yeah," she whispered.

He lay down next to her and pulled her into his arms comfortingly.

Christina wrapped her arms around his waist and pressed her face into his shoulder, shaking slightly from her dream.

Ajax lay with her and calmly stroked her hair.

Christina tried to steady her breathing and her heart rate.

Ajax rubbed her back.

Christina relaxed a little against him.

He kept on rubbing her back.
