"I'd love to travel," she said. "Aint got the money, though."

Who knows maybe you'll win a lottery or something He smiled.

"Nah, my luck isn't that good," Janie told him with a little laugh.

He smiled. You never know.

Janie smiled a little. "Yeah," she said.

He relaxed a little and drank a little water.

Janie crossed her legs.

Freddy looked at her. So do you live here alone or?

Janie nodded. "Yeah," she told him. "My friend who lived with me moved in with her boyfriend a few months ago."

I've been good for rent, Janie told him, smiling a little. mr job pretty much covers it.

He nodded, a little intruiged Okay.

Janie nodded a little.

Not a lot, Janie told him. Just the cafe. Qwhat aboiut you?

Cafe? And you're sure you're okay with money? He delved, interested. How much do you get paid? ...assuming you're working every day and night He joked.

"Just enough to live by," Janie told him, shrugging. "I work alot, and not many people work there."

He nodded, a little suspicious but not wanting to pry he changed the subject. So anything fun to do around here? He grinned.

Janie laughed to him. "Not really, although there is a pretty good bar down the road," she said to him. "But it'll be shut now, I think."

He sighed and smiled.
