Heroes School Role Play Thread.

Ayre punched him back, a little harder and smirked. "Yep," she said. She opened the door and stepped into the room. The gym was massive and at the other end were twenty younger students, all skipping with ropes. Ayre leaned against the wall, arms folded as she watched them.

Ryan smiled and rubbed his arm where she'd punched him
Not so hard, I'm a weakling, remember. he laughed a little. He walked in and stoog next to Ayre
Wow, skipping, that is some hardcore exercise going on there. he grinned broadly

Ayre laughed and looked at him. "I know you're a weakling, just testing you," she said. She turned back to the students. "They're the younger class, they haven't moved onto dodge ball like we have."

Oh, thanks I appreciate it He laughed again Oh, okay, I'll let this slide he smiled at the other kids.

"Good, because they're only kids," Ayre said, glancing at him. "I don't think they deserve these... abilities, they've been robbed of their homes and their families and they shouldn't have been. Whatever god is giving us these powers, he really hates us." She walked past him and out the gym again.

He followed her out
I don't believe in god. I believe in evolution, and that's all it is, we're evolving as humans, and sooner or later, people who don't have abilities will be the freaks, and "normal" will be what us lot are classed as.

"You really believe that?" Ayre asked him, glancing sideways at him. "I believe that our parents or someone in our family did something bad, you know, sell their soul or whatever and now we're been punished for it by being given these... abilities."

Ryan tried not to laugh
Wow, that's er.... that's interesting. That's actually one I've never heard before

"I'm a very strange girl," Ayre told him, smirking. "I believe in a lot of things people don't."

"What we've got, these... abilities, they aren't a good thing," Ayre said. "People die because of them, we kill them, on purpose or by accident, but they still die."

"Fair point," Ayre said, shrugging. "But even then it could go bad. They could heal the wrong person, they could become drunk on their own power."

"I've seen it, both the good and the bad and in truth, we're not that different," Ayre said. "Do the good really kill the bad for a reason? Or is it most of the time personal revenge? I think that's number two."

I think it's probably a mixture of the two. But the lines to determine if you're good or evil have become so blurred, that no-one knows anymore. The evil may think they're doing the right thing for humanity. Who's to say they're wrong or right, there's evil in all of us. You just have to choose what path you're going to take. Ryan shrugged

Ayre glanced at him. "I guess," she said to him. "You're very good at this stuff."

Ryan laughed
I just have too much to time to think to myself about these things. But, er thank you

"No problem," Ayre said, shrugging. She turned to him. "Where to now?"

where ever, you're the tour guide he grinned at her

Ayre laughed a little. "How about the art rooms?" she asked. "Do you do any art?"

Ryan nodded
I like to draw, I only ever do it in my own time, so no ones ever gets to see my work, what about you?

Ayre shrugged. "Painting it more my style," she said.
