Heroes School Role Play Thread.

She waited until everyone had found their seats then wrote 'Miss Marshall' on the far right side of the board in large letters.

(Yeah )

Ayre glanced at the board.

She glanced around the room taking in the different faces. When she was happy that the class was stable she begun explaining the mathematical algorithms involved in superhuman genetics, knowing beforehand that 99% of the people who listened to this first lesson didn't have a goddamn clue what she was going on about. She smirked.

Ayre watched the teacher as she spoke, jotting down important notes and listening to the rest of it. She rest her head on her closed fist and blinked a few times.

Miss Marshall moved to the side and switched on the projector. We'll watch a short video taken from the Superpower Archives which we shall learn more about later.

Ayre stifled back a yawn and wondered if she should just escape class by turning invisible.

On the board a video was projected. It showed two unorganised lines of superhumans facing each other about 100 metres apart amongst a broken wasteland. A narrator in the video told of how this actually happened but was prevented later by a time-traveller changing the past. Suddenly, the two sides rushed towards each other and an epic power struggle followed, beams of different colours and explosions were seen all around.

Ayre's eyes widened as she watched the video. With most of the class, she watched the video, wanting to know what happened and see the rest of it. She learned forwards slightly on the desk in front of her.

It was clear things were coming to a close from the lifeless bodies scatered all around. Amongst the thick smoke no more than ten figures could be seen remaining. It was easily notable that one had super-strength from the way he was launching rubble at two others, one of whom was flying to avoid the debris. One could be seen on the far left floating just above the ground and deflecting a series of light beams with their mind. There was one on the right who didnt seem to be actively attacking, just watching with a smirk.

Ayre's eyes focused on the one that was just standing there, watching the fight. She frowned, thinking.

The one deflecting the light beams suddenly had white soul energy emanating from his eyes, nose and mouth. He pushed forwards with his hands and a wave of telekinetic energy bolted straight for the one using super-strength vaporising him. A woman with some sort of light manipulation, who had been firing the coloured beams, beforehand, drew her palm in a semi-circle and a light beam bow formed. She drew her hand back and a purpler coloured light arrow stretched back then flung at speed into the man flying towards the stationary one to the right.

Ayre glanced to the rest of the action in awe, feeling as if she was really there. Each pair of childrens eyes were locked on the screen, barely blinking.

The telekinetic one looked wildly as the purple light arrow slid with ease with the flying man's head sending him crashing down lifelessly to the desolated ground below. Marvin! He screamed in agony. He shook violently. The white glow from his face grew brighter and he screeched sending a telekinetic shockwave in all directions. It vaporised one man whose electricity failed to save him. The woman with the laser bow cast her hands apart in motion forming a yellow transluscnet light barrier, coating her and stopping the wave from affecting her. Another two superhumans were vaporised by it and finally it approached the one who had yet to make a move or even display a power.

Ayre's eyes cast to the person who hadn't moved and she narrowed her eyes again, watching him, waiting for him to make some sort of move or show any display of ability.

He laughed manically as it cast over him and turned his body to dust which then scattered into the wasteland winds.

The woman released the light shield and reproduced the light bow firing off several shots towards the telekinetic who padded around attempting to recover.

Ayre frowned and looked back to the woman. Her fingers traced the work top of the desk as she watched.

The telekinetic narrowly avoided most but the final one ripped through his right arm. He howled and stumbled to the ground, his veins glowing white under his skin as the violent shakes seemed to get worse as he convulsed on the floor.
The woman smirked evilly and formed a light board underneaht her before it shot off and she landed a few feet from him.

Ayre watched, wondering who the hell was she and wondering what made her so powerful to beat the others.

He looked at her then at his glowing hands. He bellowed one last time and she made the mistake of putting up a light field inbetween him and her not seeing the direction his hands moved. He pulled his fingers towards himself violently and everything within 100 metres all around imploded inwards. vaporizing everthing in the opposite direction to the time before, including her.
A silence hung thicker than the smokey layer of dust and fog that was in the air.
The man, exhausted, collapsed down, looking upwards and breathing heavily, tears filled his eyes.

Ayre's mouth gaped open as she watched the guy destroy the girl. She frowned to herself and swallowed.

At a close-up view of the guys face it looked as though that was the end. Then a shadow cast over his face. He squinted, too exhausted to do anything else. Looking down with evil terror aflame in his eyes, was the man who had seemed stationary that whole time. He smirked terrifyingly, showing a series of sharp but white teeth. He crouched down and whispered menacingly. After everything we've been through, you should know by now. You cannot defeat me. You may control your telekinetic matter so finely but I have developed my power too. I used to be immortal, able to infinitely defy death. But now... mmm and it feels so good... now.. I can do so much more. I could defy death itself and now I can control the very lifeforce that pumps through us all. He paused, considering. Really I should thank you... when you ripped me viciously atom from atom all that time ago, I felt myself well and truly non-existent for the first time ever. He grinned. And I refused. I can reap life and death to whomever I wish. A 'Reaper' if you shall.

Repear, Ayre thought, frowning. Several gasps rang out over the classroom, mostly from the other girls. Ayre didn't look away from the screen.

Miss Marshall looked at them. Anyone who is squeamish may not want to watch the next part. She announced quickly as the 'Reaper' man leant over the the telekinetic one and took his hand. He kissed it with a sinister look on his face. The telekinetic man looked at him, confused.

Some students turned away, hiding their faces. Ayre and another hand full of kids continued to stare at the screen, waiting to see what happened.

The 'Reaper' man walked slowly away.
The telekinetic watche dhis hand intently. A black discolouring pread from where he had been kissed on his hand. He recoiled, trying desperately to rub it off or get rid of it but it seemed to travel up his arm via his veins, blackening his whole hand in a matter of seconds. When it got to his elbow, the flesh that had originally been kissed began to rot rapidly peeling away slowly up his arm. He winced in excruciating pain. Flailing about. The blackness could be seen through his torn shirt reaching his heart where it immediatly sprouted up all over his body in bits. The flesh on his hand rotted to muscle and tendon and then to bare bone, until all his hand was skeletal. He writhed on the floor in pain as the flesh rotted all the way to his shoulder and neck. His whole forearm now skeletal as his extremities all began to blacken. The bone on his first hand then disintegrated, turning to dust. His screams turned crackly as his neck flesh and voice-box began to rot. His whole arm was disintegrating and the blackening death reached his eyes, making them bulge and turn bloodshot with dark black blood. This continued, in a slow and painful way until nothing remained but dust.
