Heroes School Role Play Thread.

Ayre swallowed, her mouth dry. She nodded and bit her bottom lip.

Ayre, please step forwards, you too Gary

A towering man with blonde hair and the look of a jock boldly moved forward.

Ayre stepped forwards, her eyes on Gary.

Both of you please remind us of your abilities.

Gary grinned Ingraining and Super strength

"Invisibility, physical Duplication and Kinetic absorption," Ayre said, glancing to the teacher.

Thats the one I wanted to hear! Kinetic absorption! He smirked. An amazing ability everyone. Someone with this power, with proper training, is practically unable to get hurt by any physical attack, as they can suck the kinetic energy from a punch or kick or weapon swing.

"I'm not that skilled in it," Ayre said. "I'm a invisibility girl more."

I know. He said. I anticipated as much. He turned back to the class. Luckily, most powers activate as self-defence mechanisms. The body's response to immediate danger, for example, somebody with super-strength taking a swing at you.

"Oh, this is going to hurt," Ayre muttered to herself as she glanced back to Gary.

Gary seemed taken aback by this statement and looked to her.

Ayre shrugged to him and shoved one of her hands into her pocket.

He seemed to look to her for approval.

Well then, Gary, we're all waiting to see you show off your strength.

Ayre glanced to him and sighed. She waited.

Gary gulped and swung his fist forwards, aiming for her arm.

Ayre lashed out quickly due to her fighting skill, catching his hand easily and absorbing the kinetic energy. She punched him in the chest, using the absorbed energy to knock him back a few paces.

Gary frowned as all his energy drained. He stumbled back and had to shake his head to keep himself from blacking out slightly, his body exhausted and hurt.

PP smiled. In her self-defence state, she has over-absorbed quite a bit, but nontheless has shown a good example.

Ayre bit her lip. "Sorry," she said to Gary. She turned to PP. "That's why I don't tend to use it much."

And thats why I got you to use it. The untrained stages of abilities are the most interesting. They best show the progression everyone goes through.

Gary stood up straight as he began to regain energy. Lesson learnt. He said, shaking his head.

"How is it selfish?" Ayre raised an eyebrow.
