During lunch, Ethan went in a fury to find Miss Pine, the only nice teacher he knew of here. She listened to students and didn't kill them, which was good enough for him.

He knocked on the door of the staff room and asked if he could see Miss Pine about some homework. The teacher went to fetch her. She realised something was wrong as soon as she saw his eyes. She grabbed her lunch and went with Ethan to the lake so they could talk.

"You've had a lesson with Professor Parsons, haven't you?" she said, guessing correctly.

"He's EVIL!" Ethan stormed, pacing backwards and forwards along the shore. "He had someone killed today in class! Ok so the kid could heal, but that doesn't make it right! He's no teacher, he's a psycho! He's sick! He should be locked up. He shouldn't be a teacher."

"Was the boy in on it with him?" Miss Pine asked.

"Well... yes... but it still doesn't make it right! He can't do things like that. What about human rights?" Ethan continued. "I hate him. We all do. I don't think I can stand any more lessons with him. Can I be put into a different class for that lesson until we get him kicked out? I'm not staying at this school if he's here. I won't have it."

Miss Pine allowed him to pace back and forth to let his anger out, using her ability to speed it up so she could talk to him when he had calmed down.
