As she was leaving Ghost flew up and landed with an arm around her neck and a knife to her throat. He took a few seconds before he realised it was Jessica.

Jessica gripped his arms and her pupils dilated. She sent him flying into the wall her back was facing. She spun and gaped at him.

Ghost laughed slightly as he cushioned his journey with flight. I get very cautious when I wake up.

Their stop came up and Zoe dinged the bell. They got to their feet and made their way to the front of the bus.
