Zoe started to walk towards the stairs.

Theresa sped past her on the stairs and outside before crossing the road.

Zoe lifted her hood, it had begun to rain a little. She made her way towards Zach;s house again.

Theresa followed her from the other side of the street.

Zoe walked with her head down, looking down the street through her eyelashes. She quickened her pace as the rain picked up.

Theresa only just managed to keep sight of her through the passing cars and knew it would be better to come out from the overhead cover and cross the road. She put her hood up and filed through the traffic to the other side of the road.

Zoe pulled out her phone and dialed Zach's number.

Theresa stayed on Zoe's trail.


Zach saw his phone vibrating on the table. Hello?

Hey, its me. I'm on my way to pick up Jake's wallet. You in?
Zoe moved her wet fringe out of her eyes as she caught sight of Zach's building.

Okay. Yeah I'm in. He said as he turned off the PS3. Do you want me to put the kettle on or are you just poppong in and out quickly?

I dont mind, do you want me to stay?
She crossed the road, heading towards the building.

I don't mind either. He laughed slightly. Your welcome to come up for as long as you like really.

Zoe grinned as she climbed his steps.
I'll stay for a cuppa then. I'm outside now.
She put the phone down and rang his bell.

Zach walked to the kettle and filled it with water before turning it on.

Theresa followed Zoe into the building and carefully followed her up the stairs from a distance.

Zoe rang his bell again, waiting for him to answer.

Zach quickly walked to the door and opened it. Hey He said smiling.

Theresa heard the door open outside the stairwell. She poked her head out and saw Zoe outside a door a few metres away.

Hey. How're you?
Zoe smiled.

Im good, i'm good, just about recovered form the party. He said smiling. You'll to come to the next one, they're a right laugh. He let her in. And how are you?

Zoe lowered her hood and moved her wet fringe out her face.
I'm fine, and will do. They sound good.

Make yourself at home he said as he walked to the kitchen and grabbed the wallet, before getting two cups out. Tea or Coffee? He called out.

Zoe pulled off her coat.
Coffee, please! she called back.

Zach poured the coffee beans into the cup on the right before placing a tea bag in his. He heard the kettle click to indicate it being done. He poured water into both before adding milk from the fridge. He walked into the living room moments later with the two cups in his hands.

Theresa walked down the corridor once it was clear. She approached the door.

Zoe took her cup and wrapped her hands around it, blowing away the steam.
