James pulled out his MP3 player and grinned. He made sure it had a battery and went out his room again, inserting his earphones and turning his music up loud.

Student 131071 looked at his watch 40 minutes left.

(Oh, I was wondering for a second there)

James passed a few students that had finished their dinner and were on their way back to their dorms. He didn't go invisible but he kept his hood up and his head down.

Professor Parsons walked around the school looking for anything suspicious.

James passed a few of the younger students and walked past the medical wing. He paused, wondering if he should go and see Dhelia or not.

Professor Parsons mapped out all the exit routes in his mind.

James decided to go and see her, he had nothing else to do before the fight. He went over to the door and stepped in.

Dhelia lay unconscious still.

James stood next to the door, watching her and listening to his music.

Dhelia dreamed of her life before this school.

James flicked past a sng he didn't like.

Dhelia's eyes flickered underneath her eyelids. She could see weirdly moving shapes and forms.

James' eyes ran over her eyes and her face.

Amongst the words & numbers words started to take shape.

James watched her until he wasn't concentrating on her, just his music.

Dhelia saw the words coming slowly towards her. They started to become distinguishable. Then they sped towards her at an alarming rate.

(Yeah, if you want. Let me guess, you're gonna change it to visions?)

James stared at the wall above her head, concentrating on his music.

(yeah precognitive dreaming. But hers will always come in the form of words.)
Dhelia could see them coming at her but she couldn't move. She stayed where she was, trying to read them.

(Oh, nice! I like to put twists on abilities, it makes them more special.)

James was thinking of his family, his life before his abilities has manifested themselves. He closed his eyes and sighed.

The words were near her. She read them. She didn't have time to make sense of them. The words came towards her. They were travelling at an astonishing rate and the S headed right for her. They got within a metre and smashed into her. Dhelia bolted upright and almost screamed. The words were still fresh in her mind.
'James can save them.'

James snapped out of his day-dream and raced fowards, putting out his earphones. He gripped Dhelia's shoulders.

James raised one eyebrow.
Huh? What are you talking about? Its me? Of course its me, we met before, I've recently gotten you into trouble.
