Ajax swooped round trees. They were gaining. His snow white wings blended with the landscape. He increased his speed to a maximum and hurled forward. He needed to lose them soon. If they got close enough they could use their weapons to slow him down.

Well, it's part of the reason I fell anyway, but I cut it out Anna looked at the floor saying she cut out her Grace to other Angels made her look really bad

The demons were still gaining. Their black wings seemingly sucking up the shining glow of the snow beneath. Their eyes were fiery red and as he turned a corner the one nearest to him unleashed a binding fire whip. It torched the snowy wall next to him and left black burn marks on the brickwork.

Ajax felt the sting of the fire whip as the demon swung it a second time. He tried manouvreing round obstacles to avoid it.
