The Fallen Role Play

Jace groaned and pushed himself into the sitting position. He held up his hands.
I'm okay!

Jace stood up and popped his shoulder back into place.
I'm fine, just a scratch.
He clasped his hand over the gash on his forearm.

Anna put her hand over her mouth
Okay, that was incredibly disgusting to see Anna shuddered
That really doesn't look like just a scratch

It's fine, it'll heal.
He started to walk away.

She finally cracked, tears formed in her eyes. I can't do this. We've left everything. You're strong, but not me. I'm only bringing you down.
What? Nonsense. I love you.
Yes. I...I have to go back. I can't live like this. She started crying and began running.
Emerald! Wait! He ran after her desperately, tears forming in his own eyes. The snow was falling thick and fast and she was becoming barely visible through the white haze. He saw her figure stop on the mountain edge. He appraoched her rapidly.
I love you, and i'm sorry She sniffed. She lay down in the snow and closed her eyes.
His eyes widened as he realised what she doing. No! He jumped to her.
...her figure turned into a glistening snow angel. A white glow shone from within for just a moment... and then it was gone. He landed beside it and held the snow figure, willing her back. Emerald!.... No! He broke down in tears as he knelt beside it.

Jace turned back to her.
Thank you.

Anna stopped
Oh, well it's okay then. Wait, you don't know where the closest field is do you?

Erm........
Jace pointed behind him.
Thata way.

Ajax woke up the next morning. There was a thin layer of snow over him. He had slept next to the figure in the hope that she would have returned. She was his world, and he couldn't go back to heaven to see her. That bridge had long since closed.

Anna nodded Thank you she turned to walk away

Jace nodded and turned to walk again. He headed off towards his apartment.

Anna started to walk off in the direction that the man had pointed, but where exactly was over there, Anna frowned but carried on walking.

Jace passed through the crowd quickly, quicker than any normal human, but no-one noticed him.


Gwen exited the Video shop. She'd borrowed a DVD for the night and was going home to watch it at home. She sighed, remembering the times when she'd watched humans from afar buying DVD's and watching them.

Anna began to wonder wether searching for her Grace was just a big mistake after all, what was the point, the chances of her finding it were very small, she was just one person, and the earth was, well, the earth

Gwen headed through the thick crowds and headed towards her apartment.

Jace disappeared down an alleyway.

Anna began to walk faster, she wanted to check this field, one last time before giving up completely.

Gwen headed south, towards the fields. She knew a quick way home on a path that led past the fields.

Anna saw the fields not far from where she was now, she balled her fists up, she was ready for a full on search, she wasn't going to leave even an inch un-searched, she was more determined than ever.

Gwen reached the fields and took the small path that led to her house and to the enterence to the fields.

Anna saw a gate that led to the open fields, she pushed open the gate and ran into the middle of the field.
Right, start from the middle, making my way outwards Anna nodded to herself and began getting to work, looking as carefully as ever

Gwen walked past the fields and hummed to herself, thinking of how she might make a bowl of popcorn to eat whilst watching the film.
