The Fallen Role Play

Gwen could bearly recognise who it was. She crept closer, her finger on the trigger ready.

Ajax cracked his arm back in place. He stumbled up and tried to steady himself.

Ajax?
Gwen lowered the gun and stared at him.

G...Gwen? He said, hearing her voice, his vision still blurry. He could feel some dormant anger building.

Oh my god!
Gwen remembered the last time they'd met. She'd completely forgot about him when she'd panicked.

Ajax swung a weak fist at her , pathetically, and missed completely, falling to the floor.

Whoa!
Gwen tucked the gun in her waistband and bent down to him.
Are you okay?

He got up again. You left me for dead! Of course i'm not okay He slurred.

Ajax stumbled forward almost crashing into her. If we'd have just... His wings made him hover for a few seconds. ....just stayed inside. If you'd have just.... He could feel his wings acting on their own. They were about to fly. woke me.... He slurred on. He was now hovering a few centimetres above the ground but swaying from side to side slightly.

Gwen grabbed his shoulders and pulled him down to earth.
I'm sorry, the fire came so fast and I panicked. We couldn't have stayed inside or we'd have died.

I didn't. I....I could of got us...out of the entrance we came in.... He coughed. His wings fought against her pull.

Whoa, calm down!
Gwen pulled him down.
Every entrance was blocked by fire, we could only get out by the front entrance.

I got out through our entrance in the roof. He wheezed again. His wings had a mind of their own and soon he would push out of her grip.

He shook his head, his wings had almost overpowered her.

Preface to meeting you lot part 1

"Finally, the shift's over." grinned a tired looking male paramedic. "Noah, are you coming to the bar with us?"

"Sorry guys, I'm busy." said the doctor, Noah Klausen.

"You haven't taken another shift, have you?" a male nurse said, signing off with the paramedic.

"No, I just have to research something. One of my patients has me a little confused." he replied, signing out. "I'll go with you tomorrow, I promise."

The men made various moaning noises so he just smiled at them. Outside the hospital, the group of men headed off to a bar for the evening but Dr Klausen headed in a different direction. He had to find a computer to investigate something strange that had happened. He'd lied, it wasn't to do with a patient at all. It was about him.

Naturally, it began to rain. Noah sighed but continued walking through the streets which were lit a mixture of dark blue from the sky as the sun had set and an artificial yellow from the streetlights.
