Gerald smiled back and turned on the radio.

Chloe looked out the window.

Oh my God. CHLOE! GET IN HERE! He shouted to her. '- my name is Mike Markson, I am 39 years old and I live with other survivors in what was Lower East London. If you dont have a map then stay on the motorway and follow the signs to get to London and our building is seeable from miles around as the tallest and still-standing buildings with green glass windows. We have access to food and running water although if you do come bring what supplies you can. Please, we can beat this. If you've heard this message then you were looking for something on your radio, so please find us.'

Chloe ran in and caught the end of the message. She looked at Gerald.
"Oh my god!"

The message was on loop and Gerald stayed silent so she could hear the whole thing.

Chloe listened, looking at the radio.

"Brilliant!"
Chloe smiled at him.

He grinned and lifted her into his arms.

Chloe laughed and hugged him.

Did you hear them? That's like 8 people!

He didn't notice the listening ears of someone else not too far away.

Gerald gleamed at her lovingly.

Chloe looked back, smiling.

I was just thinking that. He thought for a moment. We'll have to wait until she comes back and we can discuss it with her then. She was talking about that colony thing so I don't think she would join us.

"I wonder when she'll get back."
