Ayre nodded.
"Yep."

Liam grinned. He looked at the flash flood worthy rain still hammering down in bucketfuls. Youre welcome to take the double bed in my room tonight if you wish. It's getting late and that rain really isn't looking like it'll pick up.

Ayre looked at the window and sighed. She looked at Liam again.
"Only if you dont mind me staying, I dont want to intrude or anything."

And what exactly would you be intruding? He laughed.

Ayre shrugged.
"I dunno, everything has a different meaning now."

Liam grinned. Anyhow, you're welcome to stay as long as you like. As i'm sure i've said at least three times, i'm grateful for the company.

Ayre laughed.
"Me too, like I said a thousand times, I like company."
She grinned at him and sipped her coffee.

Liam's eyes flickered in laughter as he sipped his coffee.

Ayre grinned.

Liam settled and looked comically into her eyes.

Ayre looked back and sipped her tea.

Liam grinned and shook his head in amusement before gulping some coffee.

Ayre rolled her eyes at him and sipped her coffee again.

Liam finished his coffee and got up to put it in the sink.

Ayre gulped down the last of it and followed him. She put it in the sink.

Liam turned sharply and bashed into her. Sorry! He said quickly before backing away. uh... the sheets are clean in there for you and I was kinda thinking of going sleep since it's so late. So i'll see you in the morning?

Ayre nodded.
"See you in the morning, Liam."

Ayre nodded to him and went into the room he'd said she could sleep in.

Liam holed up on the recliner chair and reclined it before bragging on a blanket.

Ayre pulled off her gun and her trainers. She slid the gun under her pillow and climbed into the bed.

Liam quickly got comfy and began to doze off.

Ayre slid her hand under the pillow and gripped the gun. She fell asleep like this, as always.

Liam fell asleep.
