Steven nodded and pulled off the large container strapped to his back. He opened the top and rapidly began assembling the weapon.

Steven shook his head at Maria seriously. He then clicked the control switch on the gun and it powered up.

Steven flipped round the corner. There reorganization meant that they took a few seconds to react. He held the trigger and watched the miniscule electric blue balls of energy rip through the air. As he swayed the gun to cover the area of the room, the small blue spheres bursted in different directions.
