It marveled at the stupidity of the man to try and retaliate. It's claws grabbed his hands and flung them over the edge.

Sam couldn't grab on this time. He fell.

Sam groaned when he woke up, he was lying at the botton of the hole, in pain.

It was deep night outside, and the light ball he'd thrown had been removed, leaving the basement in practically pitch black.

Sam tried to move but couldn't.

Alot of the remnants of the chandelier lay underneath him and scattered around.

Sam groaned and looked around in the darkness. He moved one of his hands gingerly to look for another light ball in his pocket.

The nosferatu had removed all equipment form his body except for two light balls.

Sam found a light ball and set it off.

The grim basement around him lit up, revealing the bare walls and scattered debris of the chandelier.

Sam finally looked at himself. His arm was broken, that was as much as he could see.

Slazera wondered about him. It had been two hours.

Sam moved his feet, at least he could move his feet, no damage to his spine then.

Slazera scowled at herself.

Sam tried to get up, but his arm hurt to much.

Slazera groaned and she was there in an instant. She imaged invisibility and found a way inside.

Sam managed to get to his feet. He felt....fine, apart from his arm, which he cradled to his chest. He was covered in cuts and bruises, but otherwise fine.

Slazera dropped graciously next to him and took off the image invisibility.

Sam looked sideways at her.
"Hi."

You okay? She said. Mentally slapping herself for caring.

"Yeah, fine."
Sam winced as he moved his arm.
"Have you seen the vampire anywhere?"

He shook her head. Maybe you should leave and come back with reinforcements or something She gestured to his arm.
