LIz was lying in the hospital bed, hooked up to a machine and an IV. She wasn't dead or in a coma, but still out cold.

He looked back at the doodle, about to add to it when he raised an eyebrow. He could've sworn the arm had been up not down. He shook his head and drew a second one standing next to the first.

Liz sighed as she stared at the blank walls. It was raining outside.

He turned to the board. After about ten minutes more work he jolted when he looked at the doodle. They were now hugging, despite him drawing them far at first. He gulped nad rubbed them out.
