Lets head to the roof and work downwards. He said, turning to walk to the stairs.

Chloe nodded and followed him.

Ayre searched all the rooms on the next floor.

He strode up the stairs until he reached the roof door and found it bolted. He unbolted it and opened it.

Mike glanced up to Gerald and sighed in relief. "Help," he said. He glanced at Chloe behind him and sighed in relief again. He glanced back to Gerald. The bleeding had stopped at least.

Liam rushed forwards and unzipped his side pouch, pulling out bandages and gauze.

Chloe gasped and rushed forwards. She stopped by Gerald and got down on her knees. She brushed his hair from his face. "Baby?" she said to him.

Gerald was out-cold. His skin was whiter than usual.

Liam tended to the bloodied wound. He's in a very bad way, he's lost a lot of blood.

Mike nodded. "I couldn't get the door open," he said, glancing to Liam. "Otherwise I would have brought him down. I used my jacket to try and stem the blood."

Liam nodded and kept patching him up. He pulled a small bottle of clear liquid from the pouch and a syringe, and drew some liquid from the bottle.

Chloe watched, swallowing.

He stabbed it into Gerald's neck and pulled on the plunger, then pulled the syringe back out and wrapping a line of the bandage round to his forehead to secure it.

Chloe glanced to him.

He cut off the end then looked up. Thats all I can do for him for now, I guess we'll just have to wait.

Chloe nodded to him. "We should get him back to the apartment," she said.

Mike nodded.

Mike nodded and Chloe just sighed. "Okay," Mike said. "You get his legs, I'll get his head."

I think I'd better stay head-side, I have the most knowledge about his injury and how delicate I'll need to be. He replied, logically, coming across however, as a little rude, despite it not being his intention.

Mike nodded and switched to his legs instead.

Liam delicately lifted Gerald's head whilst supporting his shoulders. They'd have to move extremely slow for him to maintain his grip.

Mike moved slowly with him, making sure to keep a firm grip to his legs to make sure he didn't drop him.

Liam retreated towards the stairwell.

Mike followed him slowly.

Liam tilted as they went down the stairs. He carefully manouvred round a stair corner. He continued slow pace until they reached the apartment floor.

Mike managed to keep Gerald's legs or waist from hitting anything as they went along.

As he slowly approached the apartment he stabley nudged the door open and moved round to the couch to lower Gerald.
