Louis nodded and looked away, the thought of needles made him nervous

The nurse slowly inserted the needle into her arm.

Ayre gasped and sat up, shrinking away from the needle.

James smiled back and came to a stop in front of her.
"You okay?"

Louis looked up to Ayre, he walked over to the bed side
Ayre! Are you okay?

Ayre gasped for air and nodded slightly.

The nurse got rid of the needle.

"Good."
James kissed her forehead.
"How's the kid?"

I'm so sorry for before, at the library

He'll be fine, he's recovering. she hugged him tightly

"That's good."

Ayre nodded.
"Don't worry about it," she told him, smiling a little.

James looked around.
"Look for the kid who did this!"

Ayre bit her lip a little.
"I'm stronger than I look," she told him.

The nurse asked her a few questions and she answered them.

Shouldn't someone a bit more.... qaulified be doing that? I mean who ever did this is obviously dangerous.

"Yeah, but you're talking to the kid who can't die!" James told her. "Might as well put that to use more than just healing people."

Ayre smiled to him when the nurse stopped asking her questions.

The nurse turned to him.
"Now, Mr. St. Claire, I want you to look after Ayre here," she told him sternly.

Ayre nodded and stood up a little too quickly. She stumbled a little and grabbed the bed to hold herself up.

"I'm not taking Scott with me, somehow I think he's the cause of all this."

Ayre nodded and grabbed his arm to steady herself.

"No other kid in this school will willingly take up this task," James told her. "And there aren't that many regens."

Daniel was round the corner, listening to their conversation.

Sam headed down the corridor.

Sam spotted Daniel and quickly walked up to him. He started to say something but punched him, sending him falling to the ground, insight of James and Sofia. She growled as he got up.
"You fucked up!" she yelled at him.

Ayre glanced at him.
