Gerald awoke.

Chloe stirred, she was still sat up, but her legs had fallen down and her arms were resting on her thighs. She breathed in heavily and opened her eyes.

Gerald walked out and saw her on the sofa. He wondered how long she had been awake. You want some breakfast? He said as he approached the kitchen.

Chloe yawned and stretched. She stood up.
Nah, I'm not hungry.
She disappeared into her room.

Gerald made himself some and sat down on the sofa. 'Why did he do it?' He thought as he ate it.

Chloe grabbed her towel and shampoo and came out her room.
Just going for a shower.
She disappeared into the bathroom and locked the door.

Okay. He said and got up to turn off the sink water.

Chloe turned on the shower and got it.

Gerald sat down again and continued eating his breakfast.

Chloe climbed out after ten minutes and wrapped her towel around herself.

Gerald had finished his breakfast and stood at the sink washing the bowl.

Chloe grabbed her clothes, opened the bathroom door and bolted for her room.

Gerald managed to glimpse how beautiful she looked before she got to her room.

Chloe closed her door and grabbed some clothes for her to wear.

He sat back down on the sofa.

Chloe got dressed and tied her hair up with the towel.

Gerald got up and rummaged in his bag.

Chloe unwrapped her towel and rubbed it through her hair. She yanked a brush through her hair and flicked her fringe out of her face. She exited her room.

Gerald pulled out some papers not realising she had left her room.

That shower is really good, Chloe said, walking into the kitchen and getting a glass of water.

Gerald jumped slightly. Oh..Yeah I know. Quite refreshing.

Chloe grinned when she saw him jump.
Did I scare you? she asked in a teasing voice with a little laugh.

A little He said.

Chloe laughed.
And here I thought you couldn't be scared by anything.
She grinned and drank the water.
