Chloe nodded and looked at the weapon gingerly.

Gerald headed out the door.

Chloe followed him, putting the weapon in her pocket.

Gerald walked out onto the roof a few moments later. and took off his back pack taking it to the far end of the rooftop.

Chloe followed him and waited.

Gerald unzipped the bag and pulled out a number of things including a small square of tightly compact plastic, some cones, some containers of pebbles and some empty bottles.

Chloe looked at them.
So, you're gonna make me aim at them or something?

Gerald ignored her for now and unclipped a small hook on the side of the tiny bundled square. It suddenly unfolded rapidly taking the shape of a sphere. He touched a few buttons of the front. It took the shape of a 3-D wolf.

Whoa.
Chloe took a step back.

He then filled the bottles with the rocks and lined them up on the grove of the inner roof.

Chloe watched him.

Gerald set out the cones with gaps between them, the gaps were smaller towards the middle and larger on the outside.

Chloe looked at them and swallowed.

He took out another plastic looking square and set it to unfold to a large square with set in groves. He attached it behind the cones on te edge of the roof.

Chloe watched him, one eyebrow raised.

Gerald walked back to her. Okay, we're gonn a start with the basics and move to some practise.

Chloe nodded and pulled out the gun.

Chloe clicked off the safety. The gun felt more dangerous now in her hands than it did before.
Safety off.

Gerald walked behind her. Okay two ways to fire a gun. Hip-fire and ADS.

Chloe looked at him.
Excuse me?

Chloe still looked puzzled.

ADS means Aiming down Sights. I'll show you. He clicked of the safety of his SMG and held it by his hip. It was pointed in the direction of the plastic-looking wall.

Chloe raised her own gun and tried to copy him.
