Satan communicated with Lillith, the three hours were almost up.

Christina whimpered in the corner, her leg was painful.

Lillith got up from off the stairs and walked down
I need a drink she rubbed at her eyes, so then it looked like she hadn't been crying, she never used to cry, she was just about at the bottom of the stairs when Satan communicated with her.

Sam glared at Christina and she shut up. She cluched her leg.

Erm, we're nearly there.. kind of, it won't take us long, promise Lillith bit her lip

Ruby pushed past Lillith on the stairs and walked into the kitchen

Sam continued to lean against the wall, he watched Ruby walk into the kitchen and then stared at the stairs.

She got herself a drink and walked up the stairs she smiled sweetly at Sam before she went, completely oblivious to him knowing about the deal

Sam smiled back and then scowled when she disappeared up the stairs.

Ruby shrugged it off, she didn't really care

I hope so. You have less than 30 minutes left and you are more than deserving than alot of people i've given promotions to. But i'll be forced to keep you as a lieutenant if you cant complete a simple task. He scowled. You never know, carry on like this and i might start liking Ruby more than you, and you know how much i hate her, even if she is skilled.

Lillith grinned a little
Okay, we will do sir, no problme Lillith did a little celebratory dance on the stairs before ending the connection

Lillith walked down the rest of the stairs smiling, and then she saw Sam and started to walk back up the stairs

Sam rushed forewards and pushed her up the stairs and into the room she'd slept in. He closed the door and leaned on it.

I found out about your little deal, it seems Ruby's mind isn't as closed as she thinks it is.
Sam closed his mind so she couldn't see that Anna had told him.

Lillith scoweled at him
Why couldn't you just leave it at that! Lillith balled her fists up and tried pushing him out of the way of the door

Look, you'll always be Lucifer's best girl. No-one can change that, not even Ruby. She's deluding herself in thinking that she's better than you. You dont need to agree to any silly deals to get to the top when you're already at the top.

Ajax saw a small flash of light and then a slightly dimmer light that seemed to grow bigger. He realised it was a homing missle, probably from a SAM site he'd obviously come to close to. He dived and turned before flying away as the missle crept up on him.

You think I don't know that now, it's not just about that though Sam, if there was to be a me and you, she'd make my life hell for it, I just didn't want that anymore. Look I've just spoken to him and we've got less than thirty minutes to get to him or ele I'm not getting my promotion, and I need that promotion, so can't we just go already?

Sam took her face in his hands.

Lillith moved a little closer to him, although she didin't really want to, she put her hands on his and kissed him
