Chloe bit her lip and looked at him, crossing her legs.

Gerald clutched his hands together, looking blankly through the gap in between legs.

Chloe looked at her hands and sighed.

Gerald got up and opened the front door, before walking out.

Chloe stared after him and sighed again.

Gerald headed down the dorridor as tears began to leak out of his eyes.

Chloe laid back on the sofa and stared at the ceiling.

Gerald let them drizzle down his cheeks as he walked on.

Chloe closed her eyes and sighed again.

Gerald slowed as he reached a dead end and his back slammed against it as he turned. He slowly slid down to the floor and felt more tears stumble form his eyes.

Chloe sighed again and sat up. She sat up too quick and managed to give herself a head rush.

Gerald's hand cascaded to the front of his face to rest his head down into them. He blinked out more tears.

Chloe stood up after her head rush went.

Gerald held his hands to his face to stem the flow of tears easier.

Chloe went over to the door and put her hand on the handle, wondering whether to go after him.

Gerald wiped away the current tears and tried to stop anymore from following. He felt a lump in his throat.

Chloe opened the door and stepped out.
"Gerald?"

Gerald didn't hear her. He rubbed his eyes again.

Chloe headed in a random direction, the direction he'd gone in.

Gerald kept rubbing his eyes until they were raw and red. He sniffed.

Chloe heard him sniff.
"Gerald?"

Gerald looked up.

Chloe rounded the corner and looked at him.
"Hey."

Hey He croaked.

Chloe walked up to him until she was a few feet away. She bit her lip.
