Gerald looked back down.

Chloe sat down in front of him and watched him.

Gerald stayed silent, he kept his head bowed as he squeezed his eyes together.

Chloe bit her lip.
"Are you okay?"

Chloe put her hand on his cheek.

Gerald looked at the floor solemnly.

Chloe pulled her hand back and crossed her legs again. She watched him, waiting for him to do something.

Gerald sat silently for a few minutes before he pulled his gaze up to her face.

Chloe looked at his face, biting her lip.

Gerald swallowed not knowing what to say.

Chloe kpet looking at him. She smiled a little.

Gerald gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before getting up.

Chloe smiled and got up with him. She put her hand on his shoulder.

Gerald put his arm around her waist and began to walk back to the apartment.

Chloe wrapped her arm around his waist and leaned her head on his shoulder.

Gerald walked until he gradually reached the apartment door. He lightly kicked it open and walked inside with her.

Chloe smiled and kicked the door shut lightly.

Gerald walked them to the bedroom and turned to kiss her again.

Chloe kissed him back and smiled.
"Are you feeling better?"

A little he grinned. He let go of her and crawled onto the bed before getting under the covers.

Chloe grinned and sat on the edge of the bed, looking at him.

Gerald smiled. It was getting a little late.
