Heroes Role Play Thread.

Ghost. I'm near my end now and so I must say goodbye. He held out his hand.
Ghost shook it then looked to him. What? End? What do you mean?
Jayce's eyes shone with his solemn silent answer.

Scarlette reached the fourth floor and looked around.

He's near isn't he?
Ah, correct again.
Is this the decision? Can i save you!?
Alas, no. This is a fixed point in time i'm afraid. There's nothing you can do.

Scarlette headed up the stairs, wondering where Ghost had gotten to.

Ghost gulped. Are you sure?

Scarlette reached the floor.
A flash of lightening made her stop and look out the window to her left. A clap of thunder followed it.

Jayce nodded and stood up.
It was nice meeting you Ghost. Say hello to Phoenix for me. I'll see her but I probably won't speak to her.
Ghost nodded solemnly.

Scarlette frowned as rain splashed against the window.

Ghost shook the man's hand and stood back.

Scarlette ran forwards.

The fire Jayce had been gazing at went out. Jayce slowly tilted his head.

Scarlette searched the rooms.

Ghost glanced at the door. Wondering where Raven would come from.

Scarlette raced through the rooms.

The dark shadow crept towards the main office door.

Ghost looked at Jayce nervously.

Jayce gulped and closed his eyes.

A woman ran to the doorway where Ghost and Jayce was.
"Jayce!" she said breathlessly. "He's near the office and we cant stop him!"
She raised one eyebrow at Ghost.

Scarlette headed towards the main office without realising.

Ghost looked to her in alarm as he saw a dark shaodw loom over the top of the woman. A gap seemed to form depicting a gaping mouth of darkness. His eyes widened.

The woman looked up and screamed.

Scarlette heard the scream and stopped in her tracks.

Ghost ran towards her. No!

The shadow opened its gaping mouth and seemed to enlarge before crashing darkness down over the woman.

The womans screams echoed through the corridor.

Scarlette shot forwards and ran towards where it was coming from.

Ghost jumped to where the darkness was as it crashed down and, as he landed, it seemed as though nothing had ever been there.

Scarlette rounded the corner and saw him land.
"Ghost!" she yelled.

Jayce looked at Phoenix at a large 3 dimensional shadow creature raised its claws above him.

Ghost turned on his back. Jayce!

Scarlette spotted Jayce and then looked up.
"Jayce, move!" she yelled.
She pushed him out the way with her mind.

Jayce had many a time forseen her interference and he expertly rooted himself to the spot by pushing at both walls with telekinesis to keep to the middle.
The shadow-like creature seemingly plunged into him. A thin dark layer began to envelop his body.
