A series of nearby howls went up and a group of ten or eleven beasts skidded round the corner about 10 metres in front of them.

Chloe looked at them and raised her gun, gasping a little.

Gerald pulled his submachine gun and sprayed bullets at them.

Mark and the other man pulled their pistols and fired off bullets at the beasts.

Chloe fired, squeezing the trigger quickly.

Gerald killed the last one. Come on! No more time to waste. He said and headed onwards seeing the motorway entrance near them.

Chloe pushed the others in front of her and ran.

They ran aswell and followed Gerald onto the entry point of the motorway as large numbers of growls sounded not too far behind them.

Chloe ran faster, her legs burning from all the running.

Gerald reached the top of the entrance slope and waited for everyone.

Chloe stopped next to him and tried to catch her breath.

Gerald got out one of his sentry drones and set it off in the air of the entrance. They'll be coming here in masses. Our best bet is to run or jog down here until we physically cant anymore then walk the rest of the way.

Chloe nodded, one hand on her stomach, she was feeling sick again.

Gerald started off again down the motorway.

Chloe took a deep breath and ran after him.

The three from the house (TTFTH) followed after them panting.

Chloe shook her head and braced her hand against an old car, resisting the urge to be sick.

He waited and offered some to the others.

Chloe couldn't keep it in any more. She stuck her head through the empty car window and threw up onto the seat inside.

Gerald waited.

Chloe groaned when she stopped and dropped to the ground, exhausted. She clutched her stomach.
