2059 Role Play Thead.

Gerald hoisted Chloe back up and once again set off across the rooftops. He leaped over gap after gap so easily that about half way along he surpassed Jack even with Chloe on his back. He got to the last edge and frowned. He turned around and waited for Jack to catch up.

(I hate my internet.)
Jack ran to him and stopped.
What's the matter?

Gerald looked at the last gap. That's the matter. He looked at the gap that he on his own would only barely make due to its length. I guess I wasn't expecting much company.

Oh, damn!
Jack cursed under his breath and looked back.

I could maybe jump over and hang onto the outer edge of the building and try and catch you both but i doubt it would work with her in that condition. He sighed.

Jack looked Chloe in the eye.
Chloe, listen to me, I need you to snap out of this. You've done it before and you can do it again!

Gerald stared nervously back and forth between the gap and the two people next to them.

Jack looked at Chloe's head, there was already a small bruise forming. He looked back at her.
Chloe?
She shook her head, the dizzyness was fading, but not by much.

She's coming round.
Chloe glanced at Gerald, he was fuzzy, but at least there was only one of him.
I feel like I've been hit by a bus, she muttered.

Gerald knelt down taking a rope from his bergen. Can you understand me Chloe?

Chloe nodded, and stoped because her head still felt a little dizzy, but she could see straight now.
Loud and clear, she said.

Excellent, well the only way we can get you over is by tying you to me and both jumping. I doubt you'll make it since your still not completely focused so if it looks like your going down hold your hands and feet in front of you to cushion your fall against the wall. Okay? He said, still slightly nervous.

Chloe nodded. Jack helped Gerald tie her to him.
You go first, he said.

(Phoenix fire???????) Gerald looked over to Chloe once they were tied and pulled her arm slightly back towards him so they could run up. Okay. You ready Chloe?

Chloe nodded and got ready.

Gerald sprinted as fast as he could towards the edge. His last thought before he got there was 'Wait, how the fuck is Jack gonna get over?.' Before he could acknoledge this he launched himself high and far in the air.

Chloe helped as much as she could.

Gerald felt the wind in his face as his crashed slightly heavily onto the other side quickly moving to grip nearby pole in case Chloe had fallen. He followed the rop to check where she was.

Chloe groaned and moved away from the edge of the building. She winced as she moved, everywhere hurt! She pushed herself onto her hands and knees and winced again. She was going to have a lot of bruises when she next looked. There was one aleready forming on her arm.

Jack walked and stopped at the edge of the other building.
Gerald! Chloe! he shouted.

Gerald rushed and grabbed her. Chloe? Are you okay? He glanced at the scrapes on her arms and legs before helping her up. C'mon. Stay by this staircase here. He said as he walked her over to the staircase that would lead them down to the new apartment. He ran back to the edge. JACK? How are you gonna make it?!? Chloe only made it because she was tied to me. He shouted worryingly as he looked once again at the gap.

Chloe braced herself against the door, trying to stop the dizziness in her head.

Back on the other building, Jack was judging the gap.
I'm not sure! he yelled to Gerald. I think so! I'll take a big run-up.
Jack ran back a bit and took to the edge at the fastest speed her could manage.

Gerald stepped back and watched him run towards the edge.

Jack pushed himself off the edge, but from the moment his feet left the ground, he knew he'd never make it.
