2059 Role Play Thead.

Gerald saw the danger straight away and ran to the very edge of the building holding out his hand as far as he could.

Jack reached out from Geralds hand but was only inches away!

(Is everyone either on a roof in London or falling from one?)

(We're on the last building. Jack's about to die!)

Gerald managed to grasp Jack by one hand, straining as Jack's weight and backpack were slowly pulling him off the edge. Jack!.... He uttered as his face screwed as he tried to hold on. You've got to grab onto to something.... He continued before frowning as he saw that the side of the building was completely flat.

Like what?
Jack tried to use his feet to push him up but it was no use, he had no grip on the edge of the building.

Gerald groaned at the weight and tried lifting Jack slightly with his one hand, but to no avail. He felt his body being pulled towards the edge more and couldn't even reply. His hand wasn't able to get a better grip and he felt it slipping millimetre by millimetre.

Gerald, let me go, said Jack. Let me fall!

Chloe was finally coming to her senses properly. She shook her head and groaned.

No! I couldn't! I couldn't do that to you, or Chloe! He said even as he felt his body slowly tilting over the edge and his hand lossing it's grip.

You're gonna fall with me if you don't let go!
Jack tried to push myself up with his feet, but they just slipped.

Gerald knew this was true but still couldn't bring himself to release his hand. He turned his head to see Chloe realising the amount of danger she would be in they both fell. He remembered what Jack had said to him when Chloe was asleep. G..good..bye Jack He squeezed his eyes shut and let go.

Chloe looked over just in time to see Gerald let go.
NO! she screamed.
She threw herself forwards, meaning to help Jack but Gerald held her back.
Jack nodded to them both as he fell. The thud is body made on the concrete below was loud. Chloe winced and collapsed.

(controlment? I'll let it go since i would have said that anyway lol )
Gerald turned his head away from the edge not wanting to face the harsh reality. He felt Chloe crumple down and grabbed her, pulling her over his shoulder and carrying her, grimly, into the new apartment.

(That's why I did it! LOL )
Chloe crawled into the corner and wrapped her arms around her legs. She bit her lip, hard, as tears ran down her face.
He's dead, she muttered.

Gerald followed and sat next to her pulling her into a hug. He finally understood the phrase 'giving someone a shoulder to cry on'.

Chloe wrapped her arms around him and cried into his shoulder.
He's gone, Gerald! she said. He's gone!

I know, I know He said patting her back. He felt a a tear coming to his own eye as he thought about what she must be going through but he shrugged it off.

Chloe let go of him and pressed her back against the wall.
He was just seventeen, she mumbled. Too young to die! At least he's with Mum and Dad now, wherever they are.

Which means that you've got to be strong. Now although I didn't know your parents i'm pretty sure that Jack and them will be looking down on you and they'll have wanted you to keep strong. He paused, looking at her watery eyes. You think you can do that? He said sitting next to her.

I don't know, Chloe whispered. Maybe.
More tears rolled down her cheeks.

He put his hand on her face and wiped them away then moved so that he was opposite her trying to catch her gaze and calm her down slightly.

Chloe bit her lip and looked down. Fresh tears slid down her cheeks and into her lap.

Hey, look at me. He said gently lifting her chin up with his hand. You can get through this.

I bearly got through my parents dying, Chloe mumbled, looking at him. This is gonna be a lot worse.
