2059 Role Play Thead.

Gerald ran to his backpack and got his lockpick and his gun, dreading that perhaps some sort of animal had trudged through the weather and had entered through the window or a hole in the wall.

Chloe fell off the bed but didn't wake up. She screamed some more and thrashed about.

CHLOE! yelled Jack. Chloe, they're just dreams!

Gerald fiddled with the lock until finally clicked open and he ran in to find her on the floor at the side of her bed violently thrashing. He placed his hands on her shoulders and sat her up before tapping her and trying calm her. Chloe! Chloe its a dream, it's okay! Wake up!

Tears streamed down her face. Her eyes snapped open as Jack grabbed her hands. She threw herself into his arms and tried against his chest. Jack stroked her hair and held her.

Gerald wiped some sweat from his forehead and sighed in relief.

Chloe was shaking. Her nightmare still haunted her.
I saw them, Jack, she whispered. I saw them!
Jack shushed her and rocked back and forth. He sighed.

Gerald looked toward Jack. You can take it from here, right? He said remembering his his research.

Yeah, she'll be fine.
Chloe cried into his shirt, still mumbling about her parents.

Gerald smiled softly at Jack before leaving the room.

Jack kissed Chloe's forehead as she cried into his chest.

Gerald spent the next 10 minutes over-viewing some research before heading towards his bedroom. He checked inside their room quickly to see if the situation had resolved.

Chloe walked out of her room, her face was red and puffy, big black circles sat under her eyes. She walked over to the kitchen and filled a glass with water. Jack stood next to the doorway, watching her.

Gerald mouthed ' Is she okay now?' to Jack.

"She's fine. Just a little shook up," Jack mouthed back.

Chloe drink some of the water, whilst looking at the fridge.

Gerald smiled and nodded ' Okay, night then.' He mouthed before turning and going into his room.

Jack nodded at him as he left the room. He looked at Chloe.
I'll be in our room if you want me, Chlo. Just shout, okay?
Chloe nodded and moved to the sofa. She heard Jack go into the room and close the door. Fresh tears spilled over. She closed her eyes and leaned back.

Gerald decided to add I'm here too if you want. Just as a consolation as he walked into his room and changed into his night clothes.

Okay, croaked Chloe.
She sipped the water again, ignoring the taste. Her eyelids drooped. She gripped the glass tighter, determinded not to fall asleep.

(Time-jump)

Jack opened his eyes and yawned. He sat up in his bed and stretched. Chloe's bed was still empty. He sighed and climbed out of bed.

Gerald lay on his bed face down. He awoke with a start and got up quickly to wash his face. He opened the door of his room.

Chloe was stretched out on the sofa. The empty glass of water sat next to her, on the floor.
Jack came out his room, yawning.

Gerald walked by her and realised she was asleep. He slowed down being much quieter, grabbing her glass and placing it in the sink.

Jack walked to the back of the sofa and looked down. He smiled. Chloe twitched in her sleep but that was it.
Jack walked into the kitchen.

Gerald washed the cup out and placed it in the cupboard.

Jack leaned against the draining board and looked at the sleeping Chloe.
I don't know what to do, he admitted.

Gerald craned his neck, looking towards Jack.
