Gerald rubbed his arm still smiling.
Im laughing with you not at you. He said unconvincingly.

Chloe rolled her eyes.
Yeah, riiiiiiiight!

Gerald looked into her eyes, still grinning.

Chloe shook her head and smiled.

Gerald realised he was staring slightly and pulled his gaze away before heading to the kitchen.

Chloe paused for a moment then walked into her room.

Gerald awkwardly washed some clean cups.

(I think these two are falling for each other! )

Chloe changed her top and shivered. It was cold. She pulled on her blue sweater and walked back out into the living room.

Gerald headed for his own room when she came out.

Chloe sat on the sofa and opened the book she had brough with her. She smiled and started to read.

Gerald opened the window carefully as to not make any noise. He slipped out and, after connecting a rope to the window sill started to absail down, gun on his back.

Chloe was a fast reader, she had already read this book five hundred times. She smiled as she got to her favourite bit.

Gerald spent a few minutes to get down the side of the building. He unclipped the carbon steel rope wire and left in hanging so he could get back up. He took out the gun and walked grimly around the side of the building.

Chloe turned a page, the window was open. She got up and closed it. She returned back to the sofa, tucked her legs underneath herself and grabbed her book again.

Gerald arrived round the corner and kept his eyes to the floor.

She leaned against the back of the sofa, reading her book. She flipped to the next page.

Gerald could see where various animals had already chewed on parts of his smattered body before he had to look away. He walked up to him and turned him over with his plastic gloves on.

She flipped another page, skipping to her favourite part.

Gerald carefully removed the backpack from his back. Once he had got it he put it on and decided that Jack didn't deserve to be here as food for the animals.

She moved her hair out of her face, she'd let it grow out. It was normally a lot shorter than this but she hadn't been to a hair-dressers in years. She sighed and flicked a page.
