Gerald took off his large burgen and pulled out a very long length of nano-rope. He attached one end to a pole fixed to the top of the building and flung the other end off. Like that. Gerald stopped and looked up wondering why she hadnt started coming down.

Chloe clipped herself on and started to climb down.

Gerald carried on down the rope.

Chloe tried not to look down, instead she looked at the wall so she knew where to put her feet.

Gerald neared the end of the rope and looked up to check she was okay.

Chloe kept going down, she still didn't look down.

Gerald reached the bottom of the rope and jumped down to the floor. He looked around for any animals and took his sub machine gun out.

Chloe was nearly at the floor, she looked down and saw Gerald before returning her gaze back to her feet.

Gerald sprayed off some silent bullets at a small rat down the street, killing it.

Chloe dropped to the ground and unclipped herself. She turned to Gerald and nodded her head.

Gerald went round behind her and unclipped one on her back before leaving the rope dangling for when they came back up.

Chloe nodded and followed him.

Gerald strafed down the empty street keeping his eyes wide open.

Chloe glanced down the street they'd come from and looked forward.

Gerald smiled, happy that there was no apparant danger. He reached behind holding out his hand.

Chloe smiled and took his hand.

Gerald smiled and slowly took them down towards a worn down shop.
