Chloe shrugged.

Gerald left it on the side and headed for the door.

Chloe eyed the gun and picked it up. It was heavy and she felt dangerous with it in her hand. She checked the safety was on and looked at it.

Gerald opened the door not noticing she had picked up the gun.

Gerald, show me, Chloe said, looking at him, the gun in her hand.

Show you what? He said looking down the corridor.

Gerald looked back in. What?

I said, show me how to use a gun.
She held up the gun.

Chloe shrugged.
Is now a good time?

Well, we were just about to go out for supplies and I don't really want to do it in the dark. He smiled.

Chloe nodded.
Okay, then, later. Let's go.
She walked over to him.

Gerald headed out the door only to turn right towards the roof exit.

Where are you going?
Chloe grabbed his arm.
The exit is this way!
She pointed to the stairs.

We cant leave that way. And carried on walking.

Chloe walked with him.

Gerald headed up to the top.

Chloe followed him, her eyes scanned the city laid out beneath them.
