Gerald waited until she was up before quickly bringing the rest of the rope up towards him and wrapping it into a coil. He finished and jumped up to kiss her, before swinging the rope over his arm and taking her hand, leading them back to the apartment.

Chloe woke up slightly, she could feel him lying next to her and she smiled. She kept her eyes closed.

Gerald kept his breath at the right speed and gently moved position so that he was holding her more, but in a way that it seemed he was still asleep.
