Chloe leaned against the doorway.

Yup He said monotonely once again. He walked past her and back out to the living room.

You don't take much pride in your work, do you?
She turned around to face him, still leaning.

He grunted and opened his backpack.

I'll take that as a no, shall I?
She rolled her eyes.

He ignored her and fished out some things before heading to their bedroom with them in his arms.

Chloe rolled her eyes at him again and disappeared into the kitchen.

Gerald kicked the bedroom door open with his foot and walked inside.

Chloe got herself a drink of water and sat on the side, swinging her legs.

Gerald put the things down and lay on the bed.

Chloe leaned against the cupboards and stared at the walls.

Gerald closed his eyes for a moment and breathed out deeply.

Chloe sighed and slipped into her own little world.

Gerald looked to the side and opened the small container. He shook two pills into his hand and swalloed them before closing the container again.

Chloe pulled her knee put, resting her foot on the edge of the counter. She rested her cheek on her knee.

Gerald looked around. The room felt wrong.

Chloe sighed again and drank some of the water.

Gerald looked around sharply with anxiety. Something was wrong.

Chloe sipped her water again. She dropped her leg and hopped off the counter. She rinsed out her cup.

The left wall wobbled slightly out the corner of his eye. He turned quickly.

Chloe put her cup on the draining board and went into the living room.

Gerald clutched the quilt and looked towards the door. It wobbled just as the wall had.

(Is he dreaming that or something?)

(Yeah, he's asleep)

(Oh, I thought the walls were gonna fall down. )

Chloe slumped on the couch and sighed, leaning against the back of it.
