Gerald slowly got up before looking around and seeing the floor he was just standing on dissappear. He turned to her. We've got to go. He grabbed her her hand and pulled her towards the door.

Chloe nodded and squeezed his hand.
You okay?

Yeah, come on. He dragged her to the doorway and barged through the door. He turned and closed it shut, locking it, before looking into the hallway.....or what he thought would be the hallway. It had opened out onto a green, sunny meadow that expanded as far as the eye could see yet without a sign of life in sight.

Chloe looked around.
Where are we do you think?

I have no idea where we are or what the fuck is happening He let go of the door handle and the door dissappeared leaving them alone in the meadow.

Then you're at where I am!
Chloe glanced around.

Gerald bent down and touched the grass. It felt real enough.

Olivia marveled at Gerald's work protecting the apartment. She almost set off a trap or two occasionally but avoided them just in time. He was that good. No beast could ever get past by themselves. Olivia's thought turned to the reason she'd left her group, what she'd been sent to find and bring back. Would it be possible? Would they allow it? Or would she have to leave and go on searching? She'd been searching a whole two years already, all alone.

Chloe could feel the heat of the sun on her skin and the cool breeze.

Gerald smiled at her. Suddenly, all the worries, fears, nightmares and phobia's on his mind seemed to drift away. He felt totally at peace.

Chloe smiled back, all her worries melting away.

Gerald looked at the grass next to his feet. I just.... i just wanna.... wanna lie down and... and just lay here...forever. And with that he crumpled down onto the grass and lay face up with his arms and legs widespread, looking up at the gleaming sky.

Chloe sat next to him and laughed.

Gerald laughed and looked up at the wisping clouds.

Chloe laid next to him and stared at the clouds, trying to find shapes in them.

Look! a carnival! He said pointing to a ferris wheel shaped cloud.
