He heard a noise behind him and spun around. Suddenly, he had a sword in one hand and a gun in the other. He spun around again to see an infected animal approaching slowly, growling. He heard another approaching behind him. One came out of the bathroom. Another jumped down from a hole in the ceiling. A dog came growling at him from the cabinet under the sink. He looked around. More were appearing from all the possible entrances.

Chloe leaned forward and planted her elbows on her knees, she stared at the ground, trying to slow her breathing and heart rate down.

Gerald fought off the first few easily but the more he killed the more seemed to appear. He was swinging the sword wildly at them as well as pumping bullets all around.

Chloe stood up and went into the bathroom. She splashed some water onto her face and looked at her pale reflection in the mirror.

Suddenly ther were piling on top of him. He heard his gun click as it ran out of bullets. The sword was whipped from his hand. He tried wriggling out from under them all but it didn't work. He felt the animals biting him all over. He saw one right on top of him pull its head back then lunge it forward at his neck. It;s plunged it's teeth and a ripped out his... he woke with a start.

Chloe sighed and rested her forehead against the cold mirror. She sighed again.

Gerald lay still breathing heavily.

Chloe walked out of the bathroom and headed into the kitchen. She grabbed herself a drink of water and sipped it, staring at the walls.

Gerald got uo after a while and headed out of the bedroom.

Chloe sat on the side and brought one knee up. She put the glass next to her on the counter and rested her forehead on her knee.

Gerald saw her and sighed. I had the weirdest dream.

Well, we were in the partment, it was falling to bits and then we were in this field, where we got attack by this bird which infected you then we were sucked into the ground. Beat that at weirdness.
