Olivia had a brainwave. Of course, the Thames! She had forgotten this was London. Everywhere looked exactly the same nowadays. She could use it to follow out to sea and from there, go to her group and tell them the news.

She went back up to the apartment and packed her things. She left the sleeping pair a note saying she was delivering a message on the table in plain sight and then headed out, adventuring again.

Flashback Note

The wind from the open window blew viciously at this height. The note budged slightly. Then moved. Then tittered on the edge. A last gust sent it flying and spinning in the air before landing underneath the kitchen unit.

Gerald spent a few hours tidying the apartment. The whole fiasco had made his mind blank about the drugged water and he poured three cups. Drinking the first himself before placing one on the bedside cabinet next to each room's bed.
