2059 Role Play Thead.

Gerald didnt hear her. He downed the last of his drink then remembered the dreaming. I placed a cup next to both of them! He thought suddenly. Maybe i can get it back before they drink any he walked towards Chloe's room.

Chloe saw the water and picked it up, she raised the cup to her lips.

Gerald walked towards the door.

Chloe drank the water, completely forgetting the water did what it did.

Gerald opened the door to see if she was awake.

Chloe finished the drink and looked at the door.
Gerald?

Ah.. I see you've drunk the tap water. He said shakily.

Chloe looked at the cup.
Oh shit, I completely forgot.

Flashback 3/12

It wasn't long before Olivia had sorted out a boat for herself, cleaned it, and filled it with her things. Her group had had to learn many things since the outbreak twenty years ago, and luckily sailing was one of them.

A sea breeze blew her hair out behind her as she approached the Thames estuary. Soon she would be out to sea. She had her sunglasses on since it was bright and she looked really quite badass.

((OMG There was a powercut here!! This laptop had battery (only 30% :S) so I would've been ok for a while if it weren't for the router not being able to work. Just felt like announcing it. ))

Flashback 4/12

Now out to sea, Olivia turned the boat to sail in the direction of her group. Since there was practically no dangerous emissions any more, global warming had stopped and gone back to how it was meant to be. This meant the seas were a lot easier to sail than before all this.

Later, Olivia arrived in the port near to where her group lived. She made the boat secure and dashed off, taking her weapons with her. There were less infected creatures here so it was just as a precaution. Nevertheless, she still had to defend herself on more than one occasion, mainly against gulls.

Flashback 5/12 and 6/12

Finally at her destination, she entered the secret entrance in the city after announcing her presence, making sure she locked all the different locking mechanisms behind her. Next she moved through another set of heavy doors and lock those behind her also. The security was very strict here and these people were always wary of who they let in.

Lastly was the decontamination chamber. It pumps a disinfectant gas that is harmless to humans into the chamber to cleanse entering persons. It only partially works on the deadly virus but persons infected with that are easy to detect and quickly dealt with. The gas actually makes them easier to spot because it makes their eyes dilate and it makes them breathe more rapidly.

Unfortunately for this group like any possible other groups out there, resources were a problem and they only had enough to have a food and water synthesizing machine or two, a few large fridges and the decontamination chambers. Everything else had to be done by hand, including washing, making and repairing clothes, washing up after meals etc. They even had to make their own plates, cups and cutlery by hand. Their hospital wings were slowly improving as they found more resources but it was nothing on the extensive facilities and nanosurgeons that were being developed back in the days before the virus was released. However it was clean enough and the doctors knew their stuff.

"Olivia!" A young girl ran over and hugged her. "Guess what!"

"What?" Olivia smiled.

"Brenda hit the jackpot!" the girl said excitedly. "She's found loads!"

On the outside Olivia was happy, knowing this would mean they could continue to grow but she did feel a slight hint of jealousy. Her fellow badass and rival had done it again. She herself had only found two.

"Show me them!" she said. The girl took her and and lead her at a run through the metal corridors of their large hidden home.

Flashback 7/12 and 8/12

Pretty soon they arrived in one of the main rooms, and there, lo and behold, were a group of men. Men! All the women were gawping at them hungrily. They hadn't really seen many men since the outbreak.

Their group was made of many badass women that had met up when the virus was released and the few men they had found took too many risks trying to be heroes and had gotten killed. There were a few men who had survived but not many. They were completely outnumbered by the women. There were a few young men too who had been young children or babies at the time of the outbreak whom the women had managed to save, and a few kids that had been born due to lucky windfalls when they found old sperm banks. There seemed no more windfalls like these out there so some women had been trained to be manhunters to fetch sperm donors so they could fight the extinction of the human race that would happen soon if they had no more kids. Olivia and Brenda were both manhunters.

There were 8 men. Most had expressions that said "Yeah, I'm gonna get some. Giggedy giggedy!" but one or two looked incredibly nervous. No wonder. They were surrounded by a huge mob of horny and broody women that wanted them more than you could believe. They'd be getting no rest for weeks.

"Olivia, good to see you." Brenda said, walking over. Olivia was just about to ask if this was all she had when Brenda answered that question. "These are just a few I brought back with me. There's many more to come. I found a colony of men living in Ireland who had no women. The opposite of our situation. Perfect, don't you think?"

"Yeah..." Olivia said, trying not to sulk.

"So, did you have any luck?"

"Yeah. I found some."

"How many?"

"...two..."

"Two?" Brenda smirked.

"Yeah." Olivia replied, feeling little. "And one has a girlfriend so he's off limits..."

"That's not fair!" one woman said. "She should share."

"No we can't ask her to do that. They're kinda... in love."

"So basically you only found one?" Brenda smirked.

"Um. Yeah." Olivia said in a quiet voice.

"Well, you'd better go fetch him then. Me and a few girls are off to talk to the Irish men and discuss who's moving where." Brenda replied. Olivia nodded and left, sighing with a humph once she was out of hearing distance.

Flashback 9/12

Olivia grumbled all the way back to her boat, killing a few infected animals here and there as she went. It was just typical. She'd finally found a man to persuade to come back and Brenda just had to go and find a huge group of them. Bah.

Untying the boat, she set sail again for the Thames. She began thinking of how to persuade the Damon kid to return with her. She hadn't actually spoken to him so she didn't know how to push his buttons yet. Maybe she'd just go for the "I know a place where there's lots of horny women" approach. That would probably do. Hopefully she wouldn't have to kidnap him. They were meant to accept willingly. She didn't know if the other two wanted to come back with them yet.
