Maria frowned and tossed the gun to him. She climbed into the car next to him and sighed, closing the door. She looked to the road. "Why does your boss want me?" she asked him.

"I'm not switching off," Maria said, narrowing her eyes as she watched the road. "Don't hurt Allison and I'll come with you happily."

You do as I say or she gets hurt. You dont get to call the shots. I cannot have the location of where we are headed in your memory banks. So... Open the chamber on the back of your head or I blow this womans brain onto the car door. He readied his finger on the trigger for any defiance.

Maria set her jaw and glanced to Allison. She closed her eyes and lifted the pannel on the back of her head. She pressed the switch and she powered down. She slumped in her seat.

When Maria came to life she opened her eyes immediately, only to be greeted with white walls. She frowned and stood up from the chair she had been sat in. She walked over to the only door she could see and tried to open it.

The camera in the corner turned to look at her. A soft intercom came to life. Good morning Maria, please wait whilst an associate is assigned to escort you to the practition room.

Maria's head snapped towards the camera and frowned. "My what?" she asked. "What are you talking about?"

No answer came. Muffled voices could be heard slightly from somewhere outside. After a few seconds the voices stopped and footsteps approached.

Maria stepped back from the door and got ready to fight anything that stepped through it. She lifted her fists up and got ready.

The door unlocked loudly and the door knob turned.

Maria set her feet shoulder width apart and frowned.

A man in his twenties opened it and looked her in the eye. If youre thinking about trying something, I wouldnt if I were you. We anticipated as much and have prepared for such actions.

"Oh yeah?" Maria asked him. "Try me. Who the hell are you and where am I?"

"Oh, I'm sorry, I clearly got the wrong impression from the guy you sent to attack and threaten me," Maria snarled at him. "After everything I've been through did you really expect me to sit in here like a good little robot?"
