Scizak stumbled off her. He stood and looked down. A small patch of blood started to form. Another quiet few thuds sent him crashing past the front door and smashing the corridor wall before sliding down it and sitting still.

Gerald's hand was above the ground. He fired the last few bullets of his SMG and his hand collasped back down. He had just used all of his energy and was fighting to even keep his eyelids open.

Chloe winced as she got off the sofa. She pulled the knife out of her arm and pressed her arm against her stomach, trying to stem the blood. She ran over to Gerald.
Gerald! Oh my god! Gerald speak to me!
She looked at his stomach and ripped off the coat she'd put on.
This is gonna hurt.
She pressed the coat against his wounds, pushing his hands out the way.

Chloe winced as she moved her arm, it hadn't been right since the knife had gone through. She filled a cup with water and drank from it.

Gerald sat, propped up in bed. He didn't like being like this. He felt helpless. He started to open his eyes, waking.

Chloe ran a hand through her hair and yawned as Damon entered the kitchen.
Morning, she said.

Gerald groaned as he woke up. He tried to stay as still as he could. Careful not to rip the stitches.

I'm gonna go check on Gerald, Chloe told Damon before leaving the kitchen. She knocked on the door.

(Btw, heads up, since he got shot Chloe hasn't been sleeping well and she's been sleeing on the sofa.
