Gerald managed to chuckle at her lack of medical knowledge. You can't wipe a butn with a paper towel. He grimaced at a sudden burst of pain. In fact the only thing you can really put on it is clingfilm, and yes there is some clingfilm in my brown bag if you want to try and use that.

Chloe found the cling film and smiled.

Gerald looked at the burns in his hand and sighed. This would definately cease his free climbing for a week or two.

Chloe wrapped the cling film around his arm over the burn and patted it down so it stuck together.
There.
She smiled.

Gerald flinched a bit as she put it on. Acting liked a wouded soldier trying to gain sympathy. Thanks He muttered. He pulled off a smile back at her.

Chloe smiled and cleaned up the mess. She grabbed an old cloth and scrubbed the surface.
Go rest that arm, she said.

Gerald walked to the sofa once again and lay down on it. He once again closed his eyes and meditated once more to take his mind off the pain.

Chloe cleaned up the mess and walked back into the living room. She walked straight past Gerald and into her room. She closed the door.

Gerald cut out of it quickly, looking around for his watch. He got up and started searching through some of his bags.

Chloe looked through her bag and pulled out her photos. They were of her family. She smiled as tears rolled down her cheeks.

Gerald remembered un-packing Chloe and Jack's things. He must've taken it off and got it mixed with some of the stuff. He walked towards their room and entered inside. Sorry have you seen my watch in h.... He looked up at her to see her clutching something with tears dropping from her face. Chloe... are you ... are you crying?... are you alright? .... He walked towards her.

Chloe turned her back on him and wiped the tears away. She shoved the photo's under my pillow.
I'm not crying.

He walked up to her and dared to pat her on the shoulder. Hey cmon, whats wrong?

It's nothing, just.......... Nothing.
Chloe wiped more tears from her cheeks and walked out the room.

Gerald was about to go after butlooked tot he pillow. He looked back to the door before checking what was underneath. It was a polaroid of a 4 people. A family. They were all grinning joyfully at the camera. It took him a few seconds to realise that one of the children in the photo was Chloe. She looked quite different as a child. He quickly placed the photo back qher it was before chasing after her.

Chloe walked towards the roof. She'd tell Jack that she'd take his shift. She wiped more tears off her cheeks.

Gerald reached the door and guessed she gone to the roof. He looked at his hand. It was worth a shot. He undid the bandages and ran inside placing the burnt hand inside a grip glove that he had lined with clingfilm before. He then paced to the window at the kitchen and made his way up, wincing and cringing all the way up.

Chloe sighed and started to walk up the small staircase to the roof door.

He reached the rooftop after a sizeable amount of pain and peered over the edge. Jack was alone. He hoisted himself up, groaned and sat down.

Ever heard of taking the stairs? asked Jack.

Chloe's upset, she walked away from me when I asked whats wrong but she'll obviously listen to you. She headed here now. Just.. talk to her. He quickly got up and looked over the edge. Gotta go. Gerald jumped up twisted in the air and gripped onto the edge of the rooftop from the other side. He moved down as if going back to the flat but stayed where he was just out of site to hear what would go on.

Gerald decided against his better judgement and lifted himself up infront of her. What happened to them? He asked lightly.
